Almond Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Starting the weekend with freshly baked cookies. I tweaked this recipe and decreased the sugar and added in high fiber goodness. Perfect for heart health awareness month and Valentine’s. This recipe makes 3 dozen, perfect for sharing!

Instructions
  1. Preheat over to 350 and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Whisk the flour, oats, flax powder, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl using a hand blender or mixer beat butter/oil until smooth, add in sweeteners and beat for 1 min.
  4. Add in eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix on low until it’s well combined. The dough will be sticky. Chill for 30 min before rolling.
  6. Roll dough about 2 tbsp worth and place 4” apart.
  7. Bake for 12-14 min and let cool.
