This creamy delicious brownie batter spread makes for a great fruit dip! Don’t let the black beans scare you, you won’t taste it – I promise! It’s also packed with fibre, protein and vitamins.

Ingredients
- 1 15oz can black beans (or 1 1/2 cups cooked black beans)
- 1/3 cup cacao powder (or cocoa powder)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup sunflower butter, or peanut butter / almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions
- In the bowl of your food processor, add in the black beans, cacao, maple syrup, sun butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Process until relatively smooth, then add 2 tablespoons of water to help it come together with a spreadable texture.
- Taste the dip and adjust any seasoning to taste.
- Serve right away with fresh fruit, or store it in the fridge where it will thicken up further. This can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
