  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a large pot on the stove
  2. Add 1 cup of basmati rice and 1/4 cup of drained split mung daal
  3. Let rice and mung cook – once rice and mung daal have cooked. Turn stove on low heat and cover lentil rice for a few minutes
  4. Turn stove off and add 1 tsp ghee and a pinch of salt and enjoy!
